Doctors often need research partners but struggle to find collaborators outside their immediate network.
Design a platform where pediatric healthcare professionals can discover collaborators, research opportunities, and events.
A high-fidelity prototype demonstrating how medical professionals can connect and collaborate more effectively.
Pediatric doctors frequently collaborate on research projects, but finding the right partners outside their existing network can be difficult. Existing platforms are fragmented and not designed specifically for research collaboration within pediatric healthcare.
The challenge was to design a platform that helps professionals:
I worked as an Interaction Designer and Developer within a multidisciplinary team.
My main focus included:
I also contributed to research, stakeholder interviews, and documenting technical considerations such as privacy (GDPR), hosting, and API usage.
Stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis, and understanding the NVK ecosystem.
Personas, ideation sessions, and defining the core platform features.
Low-fi, mid-fi, and high-fi prototypes created in Figma.
Testing with professionals from the medical field and iterating based on feedback.
Discover potential collaborators through a swipe-based matching system.
An interactive map showing congresses, workshops, and research events.
A space where users can share research projects and recruit collaborators.
Direct communication between matched researchers.
The final result is a high-fidelity prototype of Meetosis that demonstrates how medical professionals could connect and collaborate more easily.
The concept was well received by stakeholders and provides a strong foundation for further development.
This project helped me grow as an interaction designer. I improved my ability to translate research insights into design decisions, communicate design choices clearly to stakeholders, and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
